Here at the Eat & Drink Festival Scotland, we’re always encouraging our visitors to get their bake on. And here is why…
Baking can help your mental health and make you feel more in control. Bake Off winner John Whaite turned to baking to help with his mental health, as it releases stress, gives you a sense of control and order, and boosts self-confidence. Baking can allow you to develop your creative side, focusing your brain’s energy into creativity instead of low moods. It’s a great way to bond with friends and family, and that’s why we love it!
We’ve got some incredible guests heading to the Eat & Drink Festival stage, including bake off star Kevin Flynn, who will be de-mystifying choux pastry, demonstrating the dreamiest chai-flavoured creme pat filling, and giving you the inside scoop from the show! After being inspired by the live demonstrations, head over to the Artisan Producers Market, where you can explore hundreds of brands and products, including some delicious baking exhibitors.
